The Icelandic Associated is pleased to announce that it has awarded its 2019 academic scholarship to Kara Björk Scales. Kara is the daughter of members Robert and Halldóra Scales. She will be majoring in Communication and minoring in Psychology at University of Maryland, University College. The scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.
