We are excited about our upcoming Christmas Bazaar, which will be held on November 12th, 2022 at the American Legion Post 177, 3939 Oak Street, Fairfax, Virginia from 10AM-3PM where vendors from across the region, including from the Swedish Drott Lodge, will be selling Nordic-themed Christmas products.
In recognition of the hardship being faced by Ukrainians and others affected by wars and natural disasters, which can become even worse as winter approaches, the Board decided this year to donate most of the proceeds from the bazaar to charity. Our chosen recipients are World Central Kitchen, which was founded by DC chef José Andrés as a means to provide food to people in disaster-stricken areas, and Doctors Without Borders, which provides emergency medical assistance world-wide to people affected by natural or man-made disasters.
