We were extra-motivated to have a great Christmas bazaar last November because we had decided to give a majority of the proceeds to charity. Turnout and sales were indeed great, and we were delighted to be able to donate $2,000 each to two great organizations, Médecins Sans Frontières / MSF /Doctors without Borders, which provides emergency medical aid to people in crisis, and World Central Kitchen, which provides meals to people who are victims of natural disasters and other crises.
Both organizations have been active in helping victims of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine. Attached are the letters we recently received from each group. Thanks to everyone who helped raise these funds by participating in the bazaar, whether as volunteer or shopper.
