Getting back on our feet after COVID, we had a great Christmas Bazaar and Thorrablot. And now its time to plan for the future, and elect new people to the board. In particular, we very much want to relaunch our annual 17th June Independence Day party, which was always one of our key events before COVID.
After having been President for seven years, Gunnar is stepping down, and Fanney is leaving the Board after having served for five years. Although both intend to stay active in the organization, we need new people with fresh ideas for our future events and activities.
Other Opportunities
We are also looking for communications and technical people who are interested in promoting our work and helping sustain our infrastructure. Dwight has also served five years on the board building our membership systems and online marketing infrastructure, and is ready to train the next board members on the use of our great new tools. So there is a great learning opportunity there.

It will be held online on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 3:00-4:30 PM.
The meeting will be by videoconference only. Participation is open to all members. Please write to info@icelanddc.com to receive an invite link for the videoconference.
