The Icelandic Association Board is pleased to announce that applications are now being welcomed for our annual educational scholarship. The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, is offered to a member of the Icelandic Association of Washington DC who has paid 2020 dues, as well as lifetime members, and their children and grandchildren. This scholarship can be applied to any type of furthering education, for any age student (undergrad or graduate at 2yr/4yr college/university, vocational/technical school, language school, Snorri Program, i.e.). The scholarship will be paid directly to the educational facility bursar’s office.
The application must be postmarked by June 30 2020. See attached forms.
