After three years of “síðasta ástandið” (the last situation) we are bringing it back and in a big way. This event is free for members and their guests. We also invite prospective and returning members to come and join the association.
We will be preparing Icelandic hotdogs, and serving flatkökur with hangikjöt and beverages. We encourage you to bring a side-dish to share.
Throughout the years we have been privileged that our members have helped by making pönnukökur and other desserts, and we hope that tradition continues, and encourage those that can to please bring your favorite Icelandic desserts.
We will have lots of fun activities for young and old alike, including an Olsen Olsen tournament, face painting, ball games, lawn games and horses, YES, Icelandic horses! Antje Freygang from Montaire Icelandic Horses will be visiting us with some of her Icelandic horses.
